this guy is fucking awesome and deserves some props:

The above pic was grabbed from his myspace page, as two of the accompanying comments state:
comment #1: we like this guy.
comment #2: everyone likes this guy.
And it’s so fucking true. I don’t even really know this guy but I’m already looking forward to the day that we both end up in some random town and unexpectedly run into each other. Good times ensured.
Why?
I’ve known Mike to see him for maybe a year or so now. I have NEVER not seen a smile on this guy’s face. It’s contagious!!!!! I want to know his secret. The saying that’s something about smiling it’ll make them wonder - so true.
His profile says he doesn’t drink, but that’s a bold fucking lie, so next time you see this guy give him a hive five, a hug and then buy him a beer. And another. And another. And maybe he’ll spill his secret to you.

Amazing Mike Bigelow Fact #9:
Mike Bigelow DOES NOT have the same last name as the title character in Deuce Bigalow. He DOES however have the exact same name as Deuce Bigalow director Mike Bigelow. Craziness.
Mike makes music with some also decent folks at Dependent Music
UPDATE: In the current issue of Chart there is a short blurb from wintersleep’s Paul Murphy about his favorite album of the year [The Books - Lost and Safe]:
One of my best friends, Mike Bigelow, also likes them. In fact, he still hasn’t given me my copy of it back. Note to anyone out there who likes their CDs and is friends with Mike Bigelow: don’t let Mike Bigelow borrow
Possible theory: Mike Bigelow is so happy all the time because he stole all your fucking CDs!! Who needs the ‘net when everyone loves you and would never say no to lending you a disc. Ingenious!

< ![CDATA[[...] Which was awfully nice of the folks at Gibson to offer. Be nicer if they supported managers out there that play guitar [or whatever bass, apparently they have a drumline as well - Slingerland] too. Actually Mike Bigelow has a pretty sweet SG bass he got via Gibson too right now. Fuckers - and I don’t mean Gibson. Perhaps lucky should have started that last sentence. [...] ]]>
