| Local Video: “Holds water against any of the great music videos produced in recent memory” | |
Copernicus Studios is a Halifax based animation company that should serve as a role model to anyone on the east coast [or in any smaller market] that you not being in a major centre is no excuse for not excelling at what you do. Be it music, business or something combining the two [or anything else!].
Some of the work they’ve done includes:
Spesh K, “Knockin’ Em Down”
Nelly Furtado, “Explode”
Universal Soul, “Back in the Day”
Some freelance animation for the music video for Weird Al’s, “Close but no cigar”
A short video for Tenacious D.
But their latest video for locals The Jimmy Swift Band’s Turnaround is something else.
Coldhardflash interviews director Bradley Cayford, it covers a lot of ground and you can also see the Universal Soul video they did there as well. A good read.
Fans of JSB can request the video at Much Music

< ![CDATA[Hey guys...thanks a lot for the kind words. It's great to hear that the feedback of the video so far is very good and it hasn't even made it to the muchmusic airwaves yet. It's definitely time for The Jimmy Swift Band to get some love on TV (because if you've been to their shows you know that they get a lot of love there). The Cold Hard Flash interview was great and I hope that people really read into it a lot because it truly is me speaking deeply as I can as an artists. I encourage kids growing up to really push their ideas and really respect all that are close to them. Thanks again for the wonderful words. Take care and have a Merry Christmas!
best regards,
bradley cayford]]>
< ![CDATA[Not a problem - Chris Smith never misses a chance to talk up the work you guys do [and your general love of music] and I can see why - all the best & enjoy the holidays!]]>
