So Their majesties have been living large in Toronto staying at the Drake’s artist residence until this week. They still have one more show at the Drake next Thursday on the 29th, followed by a show at the Blacksheep Inn the following night [thanks to Matthew at i (heart) music] before returning to Halifax.

The guys have been posting updates over on their site [www.theirmajesties.com]:

The Month of March will see those derelict bums THEIR MAJESTIES living in the LAP OF LUXURY for 30 grueling days at Toronto’s Drake Hotel. Tour updates will provide you (the hungry viewer) with pictures of poor quality, videos with pointless content, and a diary that mixes “slightly confusing inside jokes” with genuine information (not a guarantee) courtesy of personal Tour Accommodator (Manager) Len Duckworth. Will the lads fall prey to the bright lights of the big city? Or will they stay in their room most of the time, often going to bed around 10 o’clock? Only time, money, and motivation will tell! And what’s this!? The first update? Directly below? Wicked.

I do know Dave Ewenson messed with their minds quite nicely when he was in town. Good job Dave.

They also made a new fan this weekend:

Their Majesties Are Real Good: I saw Halifax’s Their Majesties last night and they are a great band. They started the evening o on a such a solid tone. I was treated to a good hour or so of Beatlesque harmonies and fun bluesy piano playing, coupled with some particularly thoughtful guitar parts.
I only wish I knew how good they were before showing up because I would have planned to bring money for their CD. I settled for a button.
I am definitely a new fan of theirs and if you plan to be too, go to their Myspace page and listen to “Highspeed”.
