Radio3 Song of the Day for Yesterday – Museum Pieces

Of course it’s not only the jokes that create the bond between fellow travelers. Music can do that as well. When we were all tired of talking and laughing that night, we took turns putting on CDs. At some point, I put on the album Philadelphia by Museum Pieces. It was mesmerizing actually and I remember that one song seemed to engage the sleepy passengers in particular. The van went so quiet all of a sudden, that I thought everyone was asleep but when I checked, all eyes were open. And so were all ears apparently.

New Spoon!

I’m excited because Spoon is one of the few bands that has yet to let me down with an album. Ever. I think this is number 6 off the top of my head for full length releases.
