And on the plus side I think it does go to show how much great music is coming from Halifax right now, so nothing wrong with that. People just shouldn't think that NS is a musical wasteland outside of Halifax - definitely not the case. You are absolutely correct about it focusing heavily (ahem, exclusively) on Halifax bands. This wasn't intentional, but our intention was to create the NS mix first to generate some buzz for the project, so we pulled it together from recent/upcoming reviews. As it turns out, our reviews were rather Halifax-centric last year. I plan to remedy that, perhaps even putting out another mix from non-Halifax, NS bands.
