Halifax will be losing a fine talent this summer when Peter moves across the Atlantic. Before that happens, head to Utility to see some of the work he has done over the past 8 years:
I’m putting up an exhibition of my album cover artwork from the last eight years, opening at Utility this Thursday.
It’s a bit of a last hurrah, a farewell of sorts from me to Halifax before I move away this spring. I’ve been wanting to do this for some time now, and it appears that it took an impending move to motivate me. For those who may be wondering, I’m still hoping to work with Halifax musicians after I leave, so don’t be a stranger.
I’m hoping that as many interested persons as possible will come by Thursday at 7pm, but it’ll be up for about three weeks.
There’s a Facebook event too (I don’t know if you can link to these things like this):
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/even … 4748474901
Also I’ll be doing a show of drawings at Argyle Fine Art in April, I’ll be posting more info on that when the specifics come together.
He’ll also soon be kicking off the first series of interviews I’ll be starting here, sound design, all about designers crazy enough to work with musicians. Watch for that in the near future

Ghost Bees @ Sappyfest ‘08
I’ve posted a 15+ minute video of the Ghost Bees set at the Vogue Theatre during Sappyfest ‘08 in Sackville, New Brunswick.
With a scene from the mind of Alfred Hitchcock as the backdrop Halifax spooky folk duo Ghost Bees treated all in attendance to a masterful and eerie performance.
