Rob MacArthur
Runs a jam space in Halifax - The Rock Garden. Wanted to print a zine called Sounds Local to promote the biz and local bands. Zines are hard work. Started this blog instead after one test issue. Odds are good that he is posting from the Rock Garden.
Also started a label with his girlfriend - From Here To There Records.
Is now a partner in a future co-working space for Halifax call The Hub.

Iain K. MacLeod
Iain K. MacLeod was born in Sydney, Cape Breton and currently lives in Halifax with his special friend Beth and daughter Rowan. He owns and operates Boost Ventilator Consulting as a freelance writer, researcher and geek translator.
He has worked closely within the local arts community, thanks to Coast Publishing and the Atlantic Film Festival Association, and is currently affiliated with a local design, marketing and communications
firm called the Spectacle Group.
